Meet Dr. Sole Minera

Dr. Sole Minera graduated from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). After graduating at the top of her class, she became an assistant professor in the dental school there. She then worked as an assistant professor in the pediatric dentistry department. After developing a passion for oral growth and development, she decided to pursue a post-graduate degree in orthodontics. Dr. Minera then earned both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Dental Science (MDS) at Rutgers Health School of Dental Medicine’s Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics program in New Jersey. There, she was involved in multiple research projects and publications.
Dr. Minera is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Virginia Association of Orthodontics and American Dental Association. A strong believer in giving back to her community, she volunteers at the Fauquier Free Clinic and is a board member of Medical Mission of Mercy USA (MMOM USA), which provides medical and dental services to people in Guatemala and the Philippines.
Dr. Sole Minera lives in Warrenton with her husband, Dr. Jorge Minera, who is the Owner of CMWLS (Comprehensive Medical Weight Loss Solutions), her daughter, Sofia, and son, Sebastian.
When Dr. Minera is not working on beautiful smiles at the office, she can be found shopping and participating in different events in town and supporting local businesses. She can also be found running through the hills of Warrenton.
