What To Expect During Your First Visit

  • Meet The Minera Orthodontics Team: We strive to extend the small-town feel to our patients. Upon arrival at our Warrenton office, you will be greeted by our fun team, who will make sure we have everything we need to get your first visit started.

  • Take Digital Photos: In order to form a complete picture of your oral health and the positions of your teeth, our team will take digital photos and X-rays of your mouth.

  • Examination By Dr. Minera: During your first visit, Dr. Minera will perform a thorough exam to assess your orthodontic issues, the best time to begin treatment, the length of your treatment and if you’re a better candidate for braces or clear aligners.

  • Treatment Plan Discussion: We recognize that every patient has unique needs, which is why Dr. Minera takes the time to get to know you personally in order to develop a truly customized treatment plan that addresses your orthodontic concerns. Dr. Minera will discuss all the available options with you and help you decide which solution will best suit your smile goals.

  • Insurance & Financial Information: Then, our treatment coordinator will go over financial information and the costs of your treatment. We will also help you understand any benefits you may receive through your dental insurance.

Items to Bring To Your First Visit

Your first visit with us is completely complimentary and will take about 45-60 minutes. We want to make sure your first visit with us is as smooth as possible, so we recommend you bring the following items with you to ensure an efficient appointment:

  • New Patient Forms: These new patient forms can be filled out ahead of time to reduce your time waiting in the lobby!

  • Insurance Card: If you have dental insurance, please bring your card with you so our financial coordinator can help you determine if you are eligible for any benefits.

  • Previous X-rays: Previous X-rays help us learn more about your oral health history and may play a factor in developing your treatment plan.
